PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTSwww.cpi-worldwide.com CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 3 | 2025the most complex demands in real-world applications. When combined with the upcrete technology, even complex geometries and demanding surface finishes can be achieved to a high standard. One recent project highlights the practical application of this technology: in 2024, Ratec installed a 2x10 pocket battery mould in Florida. Since 2021, the customer has been operating a state-of-the-art production facility with an automated pallet carousel system, now expanded with stationary formwork for additional elements. The newly installed battery mould is used to produce wall panels with double-sided textured surfaces, which are combined with H-columns to form fence sections. The upcrete technology involves pumping concrete from below into the formwork, ensuring excellent surface quality. The pump setup includes a UPP100 pumping station and a rotary distributor with a 12-metre radius for easy hose handling. The maximum panel dimensions are 6 metres in length and 2.4 metres in height, with a wall thickness of 150 mm. With 2x10 pockets, this is the largest battery mould Ratec has delivered to date. Each pocket is tensioned with 60 tonnes of force per side to ensure precise dimensional accuracy.ConclusionOnce again, bauma succeeded in bringing together key players from across the sector %u2013 including long-standing partners and many new contacts. The numerous engaging discussions and high-level exchange on-site now need to be translated into concrete projects. With strong momentum and a clear sense of direction, the industry is well positioned to tackle future challenges collaboratively. nFURTHER INFORMATIONRatec GmbH Karlsruher Str. 32 68766 Hockenheim, Germany T +49 6205 940729 info@ratec.org, www.ratec.orgLatest installation of a 2x10-pocket upcrete%u00ae battery system in the USAwww.mbk-kisslegg.de mbk Maschinenbau GmbHDSM - Cobot welding machines OMNIA - loT platformDAVE - Service platformNEWS
