This was followed by an update on IPHA Vision 2030 from Thomas Goosey, including planned improvements to the IPHA website, as well as the introduction of an event app, used for the first time during the Annual Conference.After this, the delegates heard from the first keynote speaker, J%u00f3zef M. Kostrzewski, Director of the Polish Concrete Producers Association, who gave an insight into the organization%u2019s activities, including research and overseas collaboration.Next up was Piotr Dauksza, CEO of H+H, whose presentation %u201cPolish Construction Market today and tomorrow%u2019s outlook%u201d gave the delegates a detailed breakdown of the macroeconomic environment and an overview of the Polish construction market. The second day featured a series of presentations from both sponsors and keynote speakers. Pascal van Wijk from Progress Software Development (PSD), part of the Progress Group alongside Echo Precast Engineering, introduced PSD and their role in hollowcore solutions. Professor Wit Derkowski from Cracow University of Technology and Linnaeus University presented research on hollowcore floors, highlighting the HOLCOLODIS project as a key example of collaboration between industry and academia. Sergio Tortelli from Heidelberg Materials introduced evoZero%u00ae, the world%u2019s first net-zero carbon captured cement, and its synergy with hollowcore slabs. Sponsor presentations continued with Topi Paananen, CEO of Peikko, who shared successful Deltabeam%u00ae projects worldwide and emphasized the benefits of slim floor structures. Finally, Markus M%u00fcller from Sika explained how new technologies are supporting sustainable construction, including the reduction of clinker cement use.Guided tour of one of Pekabex%u2019s manufacturing facilities for hollowcore slabs.At every annual conference, new members are also given the opportunity to make a short introductory presentation. This year, among others, IPHA welcomed Kanazoe Group, with a presentation given by CEO Djibril Kanazoe.
