The automatic aggregate loading system, starting from the primary receiving hopper, has been studied in order to avoid any kind of contamination among the different architectural aggregates. The MCT Italy in-house made bucket elevator is equipped with electrical scrapers actuated only when coloured materials are loaded; furthermore, every conveyor has an automatic washing system which guarantees the cleanest environmental. The batching plant, carefully engineered with Halmann Vella engineers in every step, has an aggregates storage of huge capacity: %u2022 240 cubic meters total aggregates storage, divided into 6 compartments %u2022 additional 12 aggregates bins used for special products like architectural, colored and special aggregates (dolomite aggregates, hardstone, dolomite sand, basalt aggregates%u2026)%u2022 300 ton of powders diveded into 6 silos to contain special products like marble powder, Carrara powder, limestone and black powder%u2022 2 unloading stations from bulk bag with direct pumping into 6 silos%u2022 1 mobile aggregates scale able to collect material from 6+12 bins and discharge into 2 mixers: %u2022 1 planetary Intensive mixer for base mix (grey concrete) with compacted concrete of 1.5m%u00b3 %u2022 1 planetary intensive mixer for face mix (coloured concrete) concrete of 0,75 m%u00b3 %u2022 6 powder colour dosing systems for both mixer%u2022 underneath both mixer 1 concrete flying bucket which delivers concrete to the various casting station in the factory%u2022 automatic recycling system for the re-used of washing water and recycled material%u2022 tailor-made automation & software controlThe total flexibility of the colour blending is ensured by the weighing systems of the single hoppers and by the metered extraction belts located on every hopper. The complexity of the factory and level of investment is fully justified by the high-quality performances that the mixers guarantee in terms of repetitiveness of homogeneous colour concrete for the face mix. Only in this way Halmann Vella can produce and offer to the market the extreme wide range of niche concrete products, making the most used and more reliable supplier in Malta.Meeting for signing the contract Factory during construction
