A prime example is found in two major projects in Dresden, Germany, where several international high-tech companies, including Infineon, Jenoptik, and the newly established TSMC, are setting up or significantly expanding their production facilities. For these projects, wbr GmbH produced several thousand stainless-steel pipe cylinders with diameters ranging from 400 to 450 mm - the largest single orders in the company%u2019s 25-year history. The pipes serve as slab and ceiling conduits for air extraction and allow flexible arrangement and supply of machinery and equipment as manufacturing processes evolve. The challenge was to supply ready-to-install pipes on a just-in-time basis over several months, a task that wbr mastered with precision and reliability. The company can take great pride in what has been achieved over the years and in the significant role it plays in the industry across Europe.
