The solution also needed an aggregate storage system that allowed formula versatility and a control software customized to the plant%u2019s specific requirements.It is worth highlighting that, at its Santa Coloma de Queralt plant, Hormipresa produces industrialized precast concrete solutions for high-quality structures and cladding, integrating finishes such as technical wood (Hybrid Wall) or natural stone. The company is committed to automation, energy efficiency, and sustainability, offering guided visits and a dedicated R&D laboratory. From this center, they drive the development of low CO2-footprint cements and the application of 3D technology to create new construction components, reinforcing their leadership in innovation and explaining the need for advanced systems like those provided by Frumecar.Technology and precision at every stageFrumecar delivered a PP-7284 two-layer precast plant equipped with FPT2000 and FPT1500 SK planetary mixers, with capacities of 1,500 and 2,000 liters per cycle, designed to produce uniformly vibrated concrete with independent hydraulic discharge. The system ensured the independence of batching and cement silos, enabled formula versatility through automated aggregate storage, and provided clean and efficient discharge via reversible channels that facilitated both pouring and washing without contaminating the production hall.The control software was fully customized for Hormipresa, allowing precise management of formulas and complete process supervision, ensuring production accuracy and full traceability of each batch. Additionally, the system was integrated with existing factory processes without compromising efficiency or workplace safety.Collaboration and adaptability that make the differenceOne of the main challenges of the project was meeting strict delivery deadlines, requiring close coordination with civil works contractors and simultaneous work by all teams.
