PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTSwww.cpi-worldwide.com CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 6 | 2025n Jendrik Heithorn M.Sc. was studying at the FH M%u00fcnster in Germany from 2016 to 2023 and wrote his Master%u00b4s thesis to the topic of the design of detachable balcony connections. Since 2023 he is working as a research assistant and PhD student at the Institute for construction Physics at the Leibniz University Hanover. The current research topic focuses on the application of CFRP to wood. heithorn@ifbp.uni-hannover.den Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Schiewerling has been working as a structural engineer after graduating from FH M%u00fcnster in 2014. From 2016 to 2021 he worked as a PhD Student at the FH M%u00fcnster and RWTH Aachen while still working as a structural engineer. During his research he had the idea to research and develop the detachable balcony connection. In 2024 he was appointed as Professor at the Hochschule Ruhr West in M%u00fclheim an der Ruhr. n Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dietmar M%u00e4hner studied Civil Engineering in M%u00fcnster, Bochum and Paris. He has been a professor of Structural Engineering at FH M%u00fcnster since 2004. His research focuses on innovative developments in construction and he has led numerous national and international research projects.
