Eurobend offers suitable solutions with innovative concepts and the use of advanced technology.At the upcoming WIRE trade fair, taking place in D%u00fcsseldorf between April 13 to 17, 2026 Eurobend will be showcasing in Hall 17, Stand A60 the latest generation of welding machines for DBV-compliant S-spacers (spacer strips and support cages): the PLT Ladder B series.The welding machines of the PLT B Ladder series ensure reliable operation and cost-effective production of spacers direct from coil.The sophisticated design of each machine component, combined with the compact layout, enables minimal changeover times for different product heights and long maintenance intervals.The machines weld the transverse against the longitudinal wires using flush/face (%u201cT%u201d) weld, rather than overlapping welding. The unique %u201cT%u201d welding heads produce spacers that stack perfectly in compact bundles without the need for rotation, unlike conventional sleeve spacers with overlap welding. They are preferred by installers for the following reasons:%u2022 They can be easily repositioned%u2022 They don't snag%u2022 No risk of injury from protruding wires%u2022 They are ideally suitable for use directly on foilSignificant material saving is another major advantage of the %u201cT%u201d weld, versus the overlap welding. The unique (patented) bending system ensures excellent repeatability, perfect product geometry, and works synchronously with the welding process to eliminate downtime during production. The bending system uses pneumatically operated bending units.
