Under the title %u201cWhen complaints generate benefits%u201d, Prof. Oecknick sheds light on the importance of complaints and quality issues in the construction industry. Among other topics, the causes of quality defects and strategies for the effective processing of complaints will be discussed. Based on decades of experience in the cement and concrete industry, Prof. Oecknick gets to the bottom of the following questions: When and why do customers complain? Who bears responsibility? How can defects be dealt with constructively? And: How to identify optimal solutions for all parties involved? You will find a detailed outlook on the content of this workshop in the following issue of CPI.At last year%u2019s event, the internationally renowned scientist Prof. Stefano Pampanin from the University of Rome, Italy, gave a presentation entitled: %u201cNext generation of precast concrete seismic-resilient structures: opportunities for Central Asia%u201d. His contribution met with an extraordinarily high level of interest and attracted a particularly lively participation in the subsequent Q&A session. For this reason, an entire session will be dedicated to this topic this year and Prof. Pampanin will again draw from his many years of experience in a one-hour presentation. ICCX Eurasia has also established itself as a fixed industry meeting place for the Kazakh autoclaved aerated concrete industry. Here, too, an entire conference session will be dedicated to AAC as a building material. As in previous years, the Kazakh Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Association is co-organising this plenary session.There is also the possibility to participate as an exhibitor with a sponsorship at the ICCX Eurasia and to secure the associated advantages.
