By April, almost all exhibition space had already been taken - even the extension created at short notice was quickly fully booked. The continued growth of the concrete and precast concrete industry in Morocco and the neighbouring regions points to stable long-term development. For many trade visitors, ICCX North Africa has therefore long since become a fixed date in the annual calendar. The conference programme, which is traditionally designed in close cooperation with the Moroccan concrete association AMIB, is also geared towards current trends and the needs of the industry. This year, the focus will once again be on seismic-resilient construction - this time with a more in-depth discussion. Prof Stefano Pampanin from the University of Rome (Italy), an internationally renowned expert in this field, will lead a workshop entitled %u2018Next generation of precast concrete seismic-resilient structures: Opportunities for North Africa%u2019.Another highlight of the programme is the workshop %u2018Manufacturing of concrete products - what should be taken into account under factory conditions?%u2019 For the first time at ICCX North Africa, Prof J%u00fcrgen Oecknick from PSA Zurich Area GmbH will provide insights into his more than 40 years of international experience in the building materials industry and as a university lecturer in the field of building materials process engineering. Using practical examples, he will explain, among other things, how production can be cost-optimised through the targeted selection of raw materials and which post-treatment methods are possible and useful. He will also discuss the use of concrete plasticisers and admixtures and their possible applications.ICCX North Africa 2025 %u2013 Sold-out trade exhibition and new workshops29 - 30 October 2025, Casablanca, MoroccoNORTHAFRICA 2025The central meeting point of every ICCX event: In the trade exhibition, every visitor has ample opportunity to exchange ideas with industry suppliers and discuss detailed questions.
