PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTS156 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 3 | 2025 www.cpi-worldwide.comAllplan, a global provider of BIM solutions for the AEC industry (AEC %u2013 architecture, engineering and construction), presented its product portfolio, which is specifically applicable to the precast concrete industry, at bauma in Munich from April 7-13, 2025. A special highlight was the latest version of the Allplan software solution. With this innovative software, AEC professionals benefit from continuous design-to-build workflow solutions. With Allplan, precast concrete plants and engineering consulting offices can conceptualise and design precast concrete elements more efficiently and precisely than ever before.Current version 2025 in the focus of the trade fair appearance%uma was the perfect opportunity to showcase our software portfolio for continuous design-to-build workflow solutions. We see great potential for making construction projects more efficient and sustainable, especially in the prefabrication sector\Strategy Officer at Allplan. \solutions, we enable precast planners to implement their projects faster and more precisely.\Allplan: Precise precast conceptualisation and designAt bauma 2025, Allplan precast experts provided information on how Allplan enables rapid and accurate planning and design of precast concrete elements through highly automated workflows. This allows users to cope with a higher workload and access a variety of practical functions. For example, the software automatically creates all element plans, including reinforcement details, built-in parts and member dimensions. In addition, architectural models and MEP objects (MEP %u2013 mechanical, electrical and plumbing) can be quickly imported and used for the conceptualisation and design. Furthermore, Allplan offers the possibility to create elements either highly efficiently by parametric input or by free modelling. Since the plans and the 3D model are always consistent, it is possible to easily switch between 2D and 3D working methods as required. Continuous information flows from planning to productionAllplan also offers an optimal connection to all systems involved in precast production: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and mesh welding systems (MWS). This means that the precast plants can rely on seamless processes in their daily work.Faster planning with Allplan 2025The highlights of the new version 2025 in terms of planning and production of precast concrete elements are described below. The optimized Precast Data Validator makes a decisive contribution to minimizing errors during the conceptualisation and design of precast concrete elements. The Data Validator thus enables the production of high-quality and defect-free precast components. As a result, users can rely on correct data for production. This means minimal risks of faulty production in the precast plant as well as minimal risks of accidents on the construction site.Free-form formwork: Exploiting the advantages of industrial prefabricationFor components with complex geometry, conventional formwork systems reach their limits due to their limited adaptability. Therefore, free-form formwork is used in these cases. Allplan 2025 offers a unique tool to design fully customized formwork for both simple and complex free-form geometries. The data can also be used for digital production in order to optimally exploit the advantages of prefabrication.Easy comparison of precast elementsAllplan 2025 now offers a new helpful function for comparing prefabricated elements with each other. The software shows whether precast components are identical or in which characteristics elements differ from each other and enables particularly efficient batch processing. New feature: Allplan offers solutions for structural designIn 2024, Allplan expanded its engineering solution portfolio to include structural analysis and design. This was made possible by the merger with the Belgian software company SCIA and Stuttgart-based Frilo Software GmbH. This provides engineers with software solutions for modelling and structural engineering from a single source. The new SCIA Engineer 25 version offers structural engineers advanced vibration analysis, precise 3D wind load generation and early evaluation Innovative BIM solutions for prefabricationALLPLAN %u00d6sterreich GmbH, 5412 Puch, Austria
