ICCX SPECIAL8 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 3 | 2025 www.cpi-worldwide.comAt ICCX Central Europe 2025, which took place on February 12 and 13 at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel & Conference conference hotel in Warsaw, the organizers welcomed around 550 participants. Thus, the 11th edition of this industry meeting of the Central European concrete industry was able to prove once again that ICCX Central Europe (CE) has firmly established itself among trade visitors from Poland and neighbouring countries. As always, participants were exposed to an exciting and informative conference programme with international experts as speakers and an accompanying international trade exhibition. A new element at the ICCX CE was a panel discussion, which was very well received, and which marked the end of the second day of the conference.The conference program was divided into four blocks over both days of the event. Following the opening session with presentations on economic considerations, plant operational aspects and new methods for testing building material quality, the second conference session focused on innovations in the concrete industry, such as additive manufacturing of concrete and moss-covered concrete facades, as well as research results from the field of building material technology, such as the use of recycled materials in concrete production and concrete admixtures.On the second day of the event, the first technical session of the day dealt exclusively with precast concrete elements, from architectural projects to the use of artificial intelligence in the precast concrete plant to modern precast concrete solutions for infrastructure projects.In the second session of the second day, topics related to concrete products came to the fore. Following presentations on the improvement of processes in concrete production plants and the use of mineral sludge in the core concrete of paving blocks, the panel discussion was held, in which guidelines for the substructure of block pavements were the topic of the hour.As always, the conference languages were English and Polish. All presentations were simultaneously translated, and the presentations shown in analogue bilingual form on two screens. International Trade Exhibition With more than 100 companies from the supplier industry, the international trade exhibition accompanying the conference once again met the expectations of the participants. The trade exhibition covered all areas of the concrete industry, from concrete products to prefabricated elements for building construction and civil engineering to ready-mixed concrete.ICCX Dinner PartyOn the evening of the first day of the conference, the ICCX Dinner Party brought everyone together in a social atmosICCX Central Europe 2025 Review of the Central European concrete industry meetingCENTRALEUROPE 2025Agnieszka Spychalska, CPI representative for Poland and the Czech Republic, welcomed the participants prior to the start of the official conference program.
