At its core, the machine features a robust steel frame with a solid base and upper structure supported by a four-column guiding system. This design ensures precise hydraulic movement of the mold and tamper head. All guide columns are hard-chromed and mounted in replaceable bushings to ensure long service life and low maintenance requirements.Flexibility is central to the molding system. The mold is pneumatically clamped for quick changeovers. The tamper head sits on a heavy-duty bridge carrying two synchronized vibrators. Driven by servo motors, they generate highly dynamic, vertical vibration, which is essential for easy demolding. During demolding, a hydraulic brake locks the tamper head, securing exact dimensions. For challenging product shapes, Micheletto uses an integrated tamper head cross cleaner. This device is applied whenever the standard scraper effect is not sufficient enough, for example, with curbstones, coarse surface structures, or products with curved geometries.
