A steel plate(1) anchored to the column by means of dowel pins provides a robust connection to the structural frame, while a load distribution(2) plate fixed to the panel ensures uniform stress transfer to the precast concrete element. The steel cantilever bracket(3), together with fastening bolts(5) and adjustment devices(4), allows precise panel positioning, facilitating installation operations and reducing on-site construction time.To thoroughly evaluate the performance of the MT system, Edilmatic carried out an extensive research program combining advanced numerical analyses with experimental testing. A three-dimensional finite element model was developed, including a representative portion of the fa%u00e7ade panel, part of the reinforced concrete column, and the complete support system, with a high level of geometric and mechanical detail. The model was discretized using more than 12,000 eightnode tetrahedral elements, with element sizes ranging from 5 mm to 50 mm, allowing accurate representation of the most highly stressed regions. The analyses accounted for material nonlinearities as well as contact conditions between the different components. A rotating smeared crack approach was adopted to simulate concrete damage, with particular attention devoted to critical areas such as the vicinity of the anchorage dowels and the regions adjacent to the load distribution plate, where stress concentrations are expected to occur.Edilmatic support system with MT BracketCracking of concrete around the dowels drowned in the pillar and contour of total deformations of the boltMT bracket system components Finite element model of the support system: exploded view of the individual components
