The choice fell on Euromecc, an Italian company that has been developing complete turnkey solutions for the concrete industry for over half a century, with established applications in the production of vibro-compressed products.In this case, the plant was not designed as a simple concrete production station, but as a true technological heart integrated into the production cycle, capable of feeding the line with continuity, speed and repeatable quality.Customised plant and its technical characteristics The Vacis plant now houses one of the most advanced configurations in the Euromecc range. The main technical challenge was linked to the need to produce different types of concrete, often in parallel, to feed the production of single-layer and double-layer blocks, as well as specific finishes with quartz and coloured mixtures.The designed solution stands out for its complex but rational architecture, optimised to reduce space requirements, increase cycle speed and offer maximum flexibility through a multi-mixer configuration.As regards the management of aggregates, the structure was built with 6 tanks divided into 9 compartments, so as to ensure high storage capacity and the availability of a wide variety of grain sizes. This division allows different mix designs to be managed according to the product, ranging from industrial blocks to architectural blocks with a more refined finish.The aggregates are loaded by means of a bucket elevator for vertical lifting and a reversible transfer belt positioned above the aggregate unit, dedicated to filling the individual compartments. This solution significantly reduces the footprint compared to traditional systems with inclined belts, while maintaining a high hourly throughput.
