ICCX SPECIAL10 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 4 | 2025 www.cpi-worldwide.comThe trade exhibition traditionally forms the centerpiece of every ICCX event %u2013 and ICCX Eurasia 2025 is no exception. Exhibitors from Asia, Europe, and other regions of the world will meet here with industry professionals, primarily from Russian-speaking countries, to exchange ideas and discuss proven as well as new product solutions for the concrete and precast concrete industry. Exhibitors include suppliers and plant manufacturers from sectors such as concrete mixing plants, reinforcement systems, concrete block machines, concrete chemistry, production technologies for structural precast concrete elements and infrastructure components, and autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) plant construction. Visitor registration is now open %u2013 interested professionals from the concrete sector can now register to attend ICCX Eurasia 2025.In 2024, Kazakhstan recorded economic growth of 5.1%, driven primarily by the non-oil sector. Key contributors included manufacturing, agriculture, trade, and especially the construction industry. The government forecasts further growth of 5.6% for 2025. There is significant need for modernization in strategically important infrastructure such as roads, train stations, and airports %u2013 a trend accelerated by the restructuring of international supply chains. The Kazakh construction industry grew extremely dynamically in 2024, with double-digit growth rates and major investments. Housing construction is a key focus, supported by numerous government funding programs.Kazakhstan thus continues to offer a stable economic foundation for a successful ICCX event. This industry gathering has firmly established itself in the concrete industry%u2019s event calendar and impresses year after year with a comprehensive mix of expert knowledge and varied networking opportunities.Once again in 2025, the conference program will offer practical value for visitors. In four thematically focused sessions, it will address current challenges and developments in the concrete and precast concrete industry:ICCX Eurasia 2025 %u2013 High-Level Trade Exhibition for the Concrete IndustryDecember 3%u20134, 2025, Almaty, KazakhstanEURASIA 2025Prof. J%u00fcrgen Oecknick,PSA Zurich GmbH, SwitzerlandWorkshop:%u201cWhen Complaints Create Value %u2013 Parts 1 & 2%u201dAfter a brief review of his 2023 and 2024 workshops, Prof. Oecknick will this year focus on the key causes of complaints, defects, and damage %u2013 presented in a clear and solution-oriented way.The focus will be on concrete plants and all phases of the value chain %u2013 from planning and production to on-site application. Particular attention will be paid to common issues during the structure formation and hardening of cement paste, mortar, and concrete. Key decisions are already made when selecting raw materials. But how can a product manager prevent quality problems without reliable information about the potential applications and interactions of the chosen components? Prof. Oecknick will address this and other crucial questions in detail. He will also explore causes of complaints, defects, and damage arising from:a) Improper selection or use of a raw material in the industrial production of mortar and concrete.b) Incorrect combination of aggregate, cement, chemical admixtures, or mineral additives due to lack of expertise and/or laboratory methods with limited validity.c) Delivery of construction materials with quality deficiencies and/or lack of processing suitability, affecting the final product%u2019s required quality.Lectures at ICCX Eurasia are always well attended, and the many audience questions show the high demand for practical, relevant technical knowledge.
