NEWS12 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 5 | 2025 www.cpi-worldwide.comThe push of artificial intelligence into everyday life is underway. And now AI is coming to the precast concrete industry in a big way, through a precast-specific AI tool named %u201cAsk Zira%u201d, introduced in late 2025 by Muka Development Group. Zira is the newest addition to Muka Development Group%u2019s Titan 3000 Precast Management System. Now in its 25th year, the company founded by James and Magda Muka has built a comprehensive precast plant management software platform that continues to evolve alongside the increasingly complex precast industry. Think of Zira as an AI-driven personal assistant, ready to guide users through the vast amounts of operational data within each plant%u2019s Titan software system. At its core, Titan 3000 is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system designed specifically to manage all aspects of a precast plant%u2019s business, according to James Muka. %u201cIt%u2019s used for accounting, for production scheduling, managing quotes, managing all aspects of jobs and managing all resources. So, it%u2019s an enormous system with tons of data.%u201d he said.As with any complex ERP system, there is a learning curve for users of the Titan 3000 software package. Zira harnesses the power of AI to flatten the learning curve and make it faster and easier for a user to access specific data within the system. To take advantage of Titan%u2019s powerful tools, users %u201chave to know what they%u2019re doing.%u201d Muka said. %u201cThey need to know where they%u2019re going. They need to understand the screens. One of the problems we wanted to solve through Zira was to make it easy for users to ask questions of their data and quickly get answers.%u201d So instead of launching Titan and drilling down through the system to find your data, you can ask Zira to find the info you need. Zira can be voice-activated by the user, like Apple%u2019s Siri or Amazon%u2019s Alexa. Or, a user can type in simple searches or more complex prompts, using Zira like a Google search or a ChatGPT query, for example. A user might also ask a series of questions and have Zira quickly retrieve the answers.Security and AccuracyZira is different from generic AI systems in two critical aspects %u2013 security and accuracy, Muka said. %u201cYou can%u2019t just let any AI system have at your data, because there are big security issues.%u201d There is also a situation in the AI world known as %u201cAI hallucination,%u201d Muka said. That%u2019s where generic AI models provide answers that are factually incorrect or wildly nonsensical. In a precast plant management environment, security and accuracy are essential, Muka said, and Zira is built with both of those issues at the forefront.Security is established by defining the levels of access for each Titan user. %u201cLet%u2019s say you don%u2019t have the rights to see accounts receivable information, and you ask Zira, %u2018What are the total receivables due for this company?%u2019 Zira would check, and then come back and respond, %u201cYou don%u2019t have the rights to view accounts receivables.%u201dFor accuracy, and for training, Zira will draw on 25 years of Titan%u2019s development to supply answers.%u201cPeople ask questions in all sorts of different ways,%u201d Muka said, %u201cand that%u2019s where AI excels %u2013 looking at verbiage and matching up questions and answers. We have a knowledge base of 5,000 questions relating to how to use Titan. So that%u2019s 5,000 questions and 5,000 answers.%u201d Zira will analyze the query and provide the answer, along with links to Muka Development%u2019s extensive library of Titan how-to videos and other training materials.Phase One RolloutPhase One of Zira%u2019s rollout will focus on retrieving data for users. When Phase Two is introduced in the future, Zira will perform tasks for users, such as devising a delivery schedLaunch of a precast-specific AI tool Titan Precast Management System, Red Bank, NJ 07701, USAZira, a precast-specific AI tool, is the newest addition to Muka Development Group%u2019s Titan 3000 Precast Management System.
