Or, sending automated reminder emails to customers when an invoice is overdue. %u201cA great way to understand Zira would be to imagine if you were a project manager at a precast company and you suddenly got that call from that customer who is really hard to reach,%u201d Muka said. %u201cSo now this customer is throwing questions at you about the job like, %u2018What%u2019s scheduled for the next two weeks?%u2019 or %u2018What do you have scheduled for production for me right now for my custom products?%u2019 You%u2019ll be able to ask Zira those questions and respond quickly without hunting and pecking in the system%u201d he said.%u201cThere are so many opportunities when you%u2019re in that little crunch, like with meetings with clients, meetings with bosses, meetings with employees,%u201d Muka said. %u201cYou can make the most of that because you can access your data quickly and answer questions.%u201dMorning Reports and InsightsAn %u201cAsk Zira%u201d component of the AI system includes a powerful feature that allows users to request %u201cmorning reports%u201d or %u201cinsights%u201d %u2013 grouped sets of questions that provide a comprehensive view of data.%u2022 Morning Reports are user-defined summaries that deliver key information at a glance. While commonly used in the morning, they can be generated at any time and tailored to different roles or needs.%u2022 Screen Insights are contextual to the screen the user is currently viewing. For example, while in the customer maintenance screen, Zira can provide a set of questions and answers related to customer data.%u2022 Record Insights are focused on the specific record being viewed, offering detailed insights and trends related to that particular item.Together, these features allow users to group multiple questions to paint a clear and actionable picture of their data, enhancing situational awareness and decision-making.Quarter Century of Software DevelopmentNow in its 25th year, the Muka Development team has seen immense advances in technology since they introduced the Titan Precast Management System. It has evolved beyond their wildest expectations.%u201cWhen we started out, we figured that in about three years we would have a final package that wouldn%u2019t need much tweaking.%u201d Muka said. %u201cBut we%u2019ve been programming endlessly for 25 years now for precasters, and I think it%u2019s because, once they see what we can do, then they ask for more. And that%u2019s why we have grown, adding more and more features specifically for precasters.%u201d he said.%u201cIt's kind of mind blowing,%u201d Muka added. %u201cI thought we%u2019d be done, and there wouldn%u2019t be much more to do, and it%u2019s been the absolute opposite case. It%u2019s forever changing. And now there are more platforms. People want to use the system on other devices. It%u2019s definitely challenging for a developer. It%u2019s so much more sophisticated than it used to be.%u201dAn Ongoing AI ImpactSince 2000, when James and Magda Muka launched the company with just one other employee, they have grown to more than 20 team members and hundreds of precast plants operating the Titan system throughout North America and as far afield as Australia. As AI makes more inroads into management systems and precast plant machinery, where do James and Magda see the industry heading?%u201cI do see AI making a huge impact.%u201d James said. %u201cNow that I%u2019m deep into it, I%u2019m seeing Microsoft coming out daily with new things for developers. The software landscape is going to explode as far as more software, which means more competition for developers, but also more software for users.%u201d%u201cThere%u2019s going to be more automation for sure,%u201d Magda said. %u201cAI is going to get involved in automating a lot of routine, mundane things that need to get done every day.%u201d Training staff to operate the Titan system is one of those routine items that could be handled by Zira, Magda said. %u201cZira is going to be able to improve your onboarding. She can set up training that is tailored to a specific user and then watch to see how the user goes through the system.%u201dHaving recently returned from California where they saw driverless cars and delivery robots on the streets, James and Magda were thinking about how this new world might impact their business.%u201cI saw those driverless cars and delivery robots,%u201d James said, %u201cand I started thinking, %u2018How could that be used in a precast plant?%u2019 I feel like it%u2019s not that far off when those things will be used in a precast plant or on a construction site.%u201d nFURTHER INFORMATIONMuka Development Group Titan Precast Management System130 Maple Ave., Suite 5ARed Bank, NJ 07701, USAT +1 732 866 8686www.titan3000.com
