The design was also reinforced and now resembles the components of the larger and more powerful Zenith 940 machine. The HFZ 16043 vibrators were also taken from the tamper head of the 940 machine, almost doubling the vibration force compared to the standard 913 machine.Changes have also been made to the mould stroke. As with the tamper head, the guide columns were also enlarged here. The previous central cylinder was replaced by two smaller cylinders in order to be able to apply the higher demoulding forces. In addition, the two cylinders provide better force transmission to the pull and guide columns. These changes have increased the lifting force by approximately 60%.The locking mechanism was also modified to keep the tamper head in position during demoulding. Since higher forces are also at work here than on the standard 913 machine, the clamping cylinders and brake pads from the 844 machine are used. The holding force is thus almost twice as high as in previous 913 models.According to the manufacturer, customer interest in the Zenith 913-18 is very high and the first orders for the further developed machines have already been received.
