In addition to in-situ concrete construction, precast technology has been established as an alternative for the construction of watertight concrete structures. Consistent quality and rapid construction progress are just two of the numerous advantages to mention in this regard. Regardless of whether it is an in-situ concrete or prefabricated construction method %u2013 all locations where pipes or other conduits penetrate the components provide a challenge. In these cases, precautions must be taken against water ingress by means of pipe penetrations with a waterproof seal. In precast production, these pipe penetrations were previously positioned manually, making use of installation sockets glued to the formwork surface.Wall penetrations of size DN110, supplied by the company Kraso, can now be positioned quickly and precisely on the formwork surface, using the Kaiser System Magnet. This eliminates the need for time-consuming reworking, such as removing adhesive residues, and provides a cleaner wall penetration. In addition to all these applications, the central slab sockets for the Dutch market round off the System Magnet range.Automation in precast concrete production: process reliability and efficiency for planning and executionNowadays, advancing automation in the serial prefabrication of concrete components no longer only influences planning, but increasingly also production and construction processes. Consequently, integrated built-in parts %u2013 especially for electrical installations and other building technology components %u2013 are becoming significantly more important.Automated processes for fixing, fastening and positioning factory-prepared installation elements can significantly simplify both production processes in the factory and assembly steps on the construction site. At the same time, the dimenNew System Magnet adapters were developed to enable automatic integration of assembly anchors required for installing wall elements on the construction site, allowing this aspect to be integrated into the factory production process in addition to the electrical installation components. The Kraso wall penetration DN110 can now be positioned precisely, quickly and without adhesive residue on the steel formwork surface %u2013 thanks to the Kaiser System Magnet.
