PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTS146 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 6 | 2025 www.cpi-worldwide.comThe analysis considered material nonlinearity as well as the contact interactions between the panel and the support system. A rotating smeared crack approach was adopted to evaluate concrete damage, particularly in the regions surrounding the dowels embedded in the column and around the load distribution plate on the panel.Although the numerical analyses presented represent only a preliminary study of the interaction between cladding panels and the structural frame in precast buildings subjected to seismic loads, the results are highly encouraging. The MT system demonstrated excellent performance in terms of strength and ductility, with minimal damage to the concrete components %u2014 results that were also confirmed by experimental testing. nFURTHER INFORMATIONEdilmatic S.P.A.Via Gonzaga, 11, 46020 Pegognaga (MN), ItalyT+39 0376 558225 info@edilmatic.it www.edilmatic.itRFinite element model of the support system: exploded view of the individual components Equipment for experimental testsCracking of concrete around the dowels drowned in the pillar and contour of total deformations of the boltLongitudinal load Fy - lateral displacement %u03b4 y for a vertical load equal to 20 Kn
