                                    PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTS150 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 6 | 2025 www.cpi-worldwide.comFormworks for columnsThe formworks for columns or pillars are extremely versatile and easy-to-use machines. The fast-assembling system for formwork components to manufacture the console or to change the pre-cast element section, allows to change even every day the type of element to be manufactured. The rubber-steel profile with triangle chamfer having section 10 x 10, 15 x 15 or 20 x 20 mm. with 45%u00b0 angle makes the corners perfectly sealed. It is possible to manufacture also columns with sharp edges by using rubber-steel gaskets. The unlocking/locking movements of the side elements or shutters and the bottom plate lifting to change the section are operated by means of advanced handling systems. The electrical vibration system combined with a suitably designed structure enables the customer to manufacture a high-quality pre-cast concrete product while reducing the noise level to a minimum. The concrete curing is accelerated by means of heating the formwork by steam circulating inside finned pipes positioned along the side elements. The concrete temperature curve is controlled by the computerized control and data surveying system.Formworks for beamsFormworks for beams are advanced systems to manufacture high quality concrete elements in an efficient and affordable way, with maximum flexibility in use. These machines have been developed year by year through the continuous research carried out by the Olmet Italy designing team. They are completely automatic and designed as modules, so that one can use them to manufacture beams of so many different cross-sections by varying all their dimensions (x y z w). The automatic handling to change the dimensions is usually carried out by means of hydraulic cylinders or it is electronically operated by means of electro-mechanical devices. It can be remote-controlled as well. The safety of our machines is particularly relevant in preventing industrial injuries.Formworks for bridge-beamsThe precasting lines for bridge beams are huge plants which are built using steel profiles of increased section. Formworks are designed to manufacture different concrete product cross-sections, by modifying the formwork shape itself. This is made possible by semi-automatically controlled electro-hydraulic handling devices, which enable the operator to change the precast element cross-sections within a few minutes.All the opening/closing movements of side elements and the pre-lifting and lifting of false-formworks are operated by hydraulic double-acting cylinders.Formworks for foundation polesThey do consist of:%u2022 a base framework manufactured from longitudinal and transverse commercial profiles of huge thickness, suitable to bear the effects of vibration;%u2022 the required number of cavities with a tray-shape (having a fixed dimension square section, with the minimum slope required for demoulding);%u2022 the corresponding set of %u201cdouble-face%u201d casting separators (flat at one edge and tapered at the other one);%u2022 vibrating installation and accelerated curing installation.%u2022 The battery formworks for poles can also be equipped with stressing/slackening heads to manufacture prestressed poles.Formworks for StaircasesThese formworks can be manufactured with casting in horizontal position but also in vertical position (battery formworks for vertical casting or single formworks for horizontal production). The battery formwork can be supplied with fixed section, to produce a large quantity of elements and to optimize production processes. Olmet Italy also supplies double batteries with the possibility of adjusting all the geometric dimensions of the stair, such as:%u2022 tread length;%u2022 tread thickness;%u2022 number of the steps;%u2022 thickness of the concrete element;%u2022 length and width of the landing;%u2022 thickness of the landing.The adjustment of the lift and the tread is performed by means of screw kinematic mechanisms. To facilitate the demoulding of the concrete elements, the sides can be moved laterally by using hydraulic actuators, or, as an economic alternative, with mechanical levers. The opening and closing handling operations of the side elements, any other automated handling operations and the management of the vibration cycles can be managed using HMI controls. The main advantage of these types of adjustable moulds is that different types of staircases can be made with the same mould, saving time and money, Formwork for beams as well as being easy to use.
