CONCRETE PIPES AND MANHOLES124 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 2 | 2026 www.cpi-worldwide.comShortly after the successful commissioning of a modern concrete pipe line at its Sint-Truiden site, the Belgian family-owned company Webeco is sending another strong signal for growth, innovation and long-term investment security. With the second concrete pipe production line at the same site, Webeco is expanding its capacities in a targeted manner %u2013 with a clear focus on large pipe diameters and highly efficient, automated production. As with the first line, the pipe machine comes from the Italian company Colle, while Rekers Maschinen- und Anlagenbau is once again responsible as the system supplier for the complete handling and pallet ring system and pipe inspection. This was not simply a case of copying, but rather of consistent further development.High-performance pipe production for large diametersThe new production line is designed for the manufacture of round pipes and flat-base pipes in the nominal diameter range from DN 400 to DN 1200. As with pipe plant 1, the pipe machine is designed for non-mixed production. This means: In multiple production runs, identical pipe diameters are always produced, which significantly increases process reliability, repeat accuracy and quality. The pipes are demoulded directly, removed with a Colle removal trolley car and temporarily stored in the hall.Extended Rekers fling bucket system %u2013 a concrete supply system for two machinesA central element of the plant is the extended Rekers bucket conveyor from the first project. This now supplies both pipe machines with concrete reliably and fully automatically. The intelligent integration of the control systems ensures a continuous flow of material and underlines the modular approach of the plant.New handling concept on the dry sideIn contrast to the first line, the handling of the cured pipes on the dry side has been redesigned and further optimised Webeco invests in a second pipe production line with expanded handling capabilities and future prospectsRekers GmbH, 48480 Spelle, Germanyn Jonas Sperver, Rekers GmbH, GermanyPipe system II with pipe handling and pallet ring handling
