Simplified sealing dispatch for large diametersAnother focus of the new line is on ergonomic and process-reliable sealing dispatch. Depending on the pipe diameter, the pallet ring manipulator takes the required pallet ring from the storage area and presents it at the double turntable of the sealing station. Due to the large diameters, a semi-automatic seal applicator is used here.The operator places the sealing ring over the pallet ring and secures it manually at one point. A foot pedal is used to set the turntable in rotation; a rolling mechanism pulls the seal on in a controlled and even manner.
