ICCX SPECIAL14 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International %u2013 2 | 2026 www.cpi-worldwide.comSeveral presentations and workshops of the ICCX are therefore dedicated to this topic, providing practical guidance on how concrete production can become more efficient, economical, and environmentally friendly.Earthquake safety as a structural guiding principle in concrete constructionDue to its location along several active tectonic fault lines, Turkey is among the most earthquake-prone regions in the world. Accordingly, improving the earthquake resilience of buildings and infrastructure is a key priority in construction policy. Following the severe earthquakes in February 2023, reconstruction efforts in the affected regions have gained significant momentum. The focus is on earthquake-resistant structural concepts, reinforced concrete structures, and modern safety standards. This topic, particularly with regard to precast concrete technology, will be dedicated an entire session. In four engaging presentations as well as a Keynote address, expert knowledge will be shared on the planning, design, manufacturing, and construction of structural elements and complex building structures made from precast concrete. ICCX T%u00fcrkiye 2026 is supported by the Turkish Precast Concrete Association, among others. The association thus underscores the great importance of this conference and exhibition for the further development of construction methods using precast concrete elements. It expressly welcomes the practical orientation and interdisciplinary exchange of this event and appreciates the added value that ICCX T%u00fcrkiye offers planners, engineers, precast concrete manufacturers, and investors.Autoclaved aerated concrete is also an exciting topic in this context and is the focus of an entire session, as this lightweight material offers advantages when used in earthquake-prone regions. Accordingly, the event is also supported by the Turkish Aerated Concrete Association.ICCX T%u00fcrkiye 2026: A strategic venue for international exchange in the concrete industryThe Turkish construction industry combines strong investment momentum, extensive expertise in concrete construction, and international project experience. Large-scale infrastructure projects, post-earthquake reconstruction, the transition toward sustainable building materials, and a strong export orientation make Turkey a key meeting point for decision-makers, planners, construction companies, and concrete manufacturers. This provides the country with ideal conditions for introducing the ICCX event series.Major international trade exhibitionThe interdisciplinary trade exhibition combined with a technical conference offers targeted added value for the concrete industry by bringing together planning, execution, the building materials sector, research, and technology development within a single format. While the conference provides the conceptual framework, with internationally recognized speakers addressing key topics and offering valuable, practice-oriented advice for concrete production, the accompanying exhibition %u2013 with companies participating from around the world %u2013 creates a direct link to real-world applications. New technologies, materials, machinery, software solutions, and production systems are not discussed abstractly but are Expert presentations by international specialists provide context and strategic perspectives, while exhibitors enable the direct transfer of solutions to the practical needs of the industry. Attendees can not only discuss solutions but also examine them in detail, compare different strategies and relate them to their own projects and business objectives. This supports well-informed investment decisions, accelerates innovation processes, and strengthens networking across the entire value chain of concrete construction.
