This design allows for:%u2022 Transport of each module on standard trucks without the need for special convoys.%u2022 Assembly of the prestressing lines directly on the construction site.%u2022 Dismantling of the equipment once a section has been completed.%u2022 Reinstallation at another location along the A8 corridor or on future projects, maximising the service life of the system.Once beam production for Section I is completed, the prestressing lines will be dismantled and relocated to a new site, reflecting the operational flexibility required for large linear infrastructure projects.Strategic relevance of the A8 highway sectionAccording to data published by the main contractor, the scope of works for this section includes:%u2022 24.4 km of new highway.%u2022 30 prefabricated bridges with a combined length exceeding 2,500 metres.%u2022 2 additional steel bridges.%u2022 Underpasses, interchanges, service areas and maintenance facilities.The large number of structures generates a sustained demand for prestressed beams, a critical component for enabling simultaneous progress on multiple construction fronts.
