Numerous exhibits on a total of about 650 m%u00b2 of indoor and outdoor space built bridges to the present and future in Munich.Euromix 1600 Nova For over 25 years, SBM has been setting international standards in the mobile and supermobile concrete mixing plant segment with its Euromix series. With the world premiere of the new SBM Euromix%u00ae 1600 Nova, the manufacturer has launched the next stage in the system programme and also presented its smallest series with a new basic structure of the mixer unit in a forward-looking design, which offers even better year-round properties and significantly more space for inspection and maintenance work thanks to new insulation.Like its predecessor, the Euromix 1600 Nova with a hardened concrete output of up to 80 m%u00b3/h is aimed at small to medium-sized construction sites with a daily requirement of up to 800 m%u00b3 of hardened concrete or liquid soils for backfilling. As a temporary addition to stationary plants, the system also produces high-quality recipes including special and recycled concretes or can also be used permanently in precast production as a space-saving solution.Like all Euromix systems, it has a modular design and can be extended: Mixer and hopper units as well as the binder silos are transported on flatbed trailers. On the construction site, a mobile crane and 2 to 3 employees are usually sufficient to erect the entire system ready for operation within one day.Developed in collaboration with industrial designers, the new basic design and the superstructure with fold-out extensions on both sides in the upper area of the scales and mixer platforms offer much more space and therefore significantly improved accessibility in the new Euromix 1600 Nova. Safe access and enlarged service platforms now make the mixer and all weighing and dosing equipment for water, cement and admixtures easily accessible from all sides. Energy efficiency has also been significantly improved: While the closed structure made of 40 mm isopanels and fully insulated roof area already enables energy savings in regular operation, an optional winter package with additional floor insulation, interior heating and enclosure of the rock transfer makes operation safe and economical even at low temperatures from +5%u00b0 C and below.The heart of the Euromix 1600 Nova is still the BHS twin-shaft mixer DKX 1.67 with an hourly output of up to 80 m%u00b3 of hardened concrete. A newly developed SBM high-pressure cleaning system enables particularly efficient cleaning of the mixer, reduces the cleaning effort and thus the operating costs.
