PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTS74 CPI %u2013 Concrete Plant International | India Edition %u2013 1 | 2026 www.cpi-worldwide.comThe basis for the Construx-Weckenmann Upcaster is a height adjustable frame construction underneath the top landing. This frame has a two-part structure and is adjusted in height by an electrical drive. The big advantage of this design, apart from its high stability, is that the top landing always remains in the horizontal position, even during adjustment procedures. Therefore, there is no danger of tools, stop-ends, magnets, or built-in components sliding and falling. The top landing is fixed on top of the frame and connected to the inclined ramp via an articulating steel joint. The bottom landing is guided laterally on the ramp and is likewise moved into position whilst the angle is set by electrical drives. This concept eliminates the need for an additional drive to set the angle of the top landing. The scope of delivery includes a magnetic digital level for the adjustment procedure. Through the height adjustment of the frame, the angle can be read on the digital display. Following the adjustment of the angle, the ramp and the upper landing are simultaneously set in the pouring position. Subsequently the bottom landing is adjusted to the appropriate flight length and likewise levelled using the digital level. All functions and operations are controlled using a radio remote control.A standard Upcaster allows for an angular range from 24%u00b0 to 43%u00b0, a maximum flight length of 6m, a maximum stair width of 3m and maximum landing lengths of 2,5m. Obviously, larger sizes are available because each Upcaster is a custom-built mould.Shaping the Future of ConcreteConstrux-Weckenmann meets the requirements of the customers, in order to obtain the most appropriate solution to manufacture their precast stairs. All activities are carried out in-house: design, engineering, production, and even test pours. The in-house testing at one of the Construx-Weckenmann manufacturing facilities is the best way to avoid problems and misunderstandings when the stair mould is commissioned in the customers%u2019 production facility. Construx-Weckenmann is an engineering-driven manufacturing company relying on the commitment, creativity and experience of its employees. Their aim is to establish a partnership, rather than to be a supplier, in providing turnkey solutions for precast and on-site formwork issues. nFURTHER INFORMATIONConstrux bvbaHazebeekstraat 11, 8531 Hulste, Belgium T +32 56724793info@construx.eu, www.construx.euWeckenmann Anlagentechnik GmbH & Co.
