By simply exchanging or adjusting the mould components, slot-drains can be manufactured in different heights (300 to 1,200 mm), widths (300 to 1,000 mm), and lengths (up to 4,000 mm). The cores and end plates with channel connections are also interchangeable, allowing the production of round and oval pipe profiles as well as egg-shaped or kite-shaped profiles with this mould. The slot arrangement is also flexibly adjustable.For efficient stripping, the form is lifted and rotated using a suitable crane-supported rotating lifting beam. Adjustable sidewalls and shrinkable cores further facilitate the damage-free removal of the hardened concrete elements from the moulds.By using appropriate form base plates or slot modules, different inlet contours (with or without slope) and slot dimensions or slot divisions can be produced. The walls at the far ends of the mould feature contours for the end faces of the concrete elements and can be folded open for stripping. Replacement with other end walls is also quick and easy. Depending on the slot-drain design, the sidewalls of the mould can be either straight or tapered. For easy stripping, the inclination of the sidewalls can optionally be adjusted. The base of the mould is height-adjustable either by mechanical or hydraulic means. The base also defines the upper contour of the slotdrain (which can be straight or provide an inlet slope, with or without curbstone) and accommodate the tapered spacers for the inlet slots. Depending on the desired internal profile of the slot-drain, cores with the appropriate shape are used, either straight or sloped. For easy stripping, the cores can be mechanically or hydraulically narrowed.The moulds for slot-drains are generally suitable for all types of concrete. For optimal compaction, the moulds can also be equipped with external vibrators and a suitable control system. Using the rotating lifting beam, the mould can be safely and quickly moved or rotated for stripping and cleaning.
